    • Mirror is portable, requires no formal installation, and is multi-threaded so it has little to no impact on system resources. Only files and folders that have been added/modified are copied, so disk writes are held to a minimum with the result being a much faster backup compared to traditional methods.

    Here's an overview of Mirror's options...

    Folders

  • Source: This is the folder and its content to mirror.
  • Target: This is the destination folder.

    • Options

  • Synchronize Target: Items not found in the source folder will be deleted in the target folder.
  • Minimize On Use: Causes the window to be minimized to the taskbar while processing.
  • Auto Exit: Causes Mirror to exit after processing.

    • Command line

  • Once configured, you can backup automatically by invoking 'Mirror x' from a shortcut or script.
